Introduction
The GEO Filter blocks user’s click or conversions related with the selected countries from the list provided.
Geo filter setup
- The GEO Filter rejects clicks associated with the countries selected from the drop-down list.
- By default, all the selected GEOs are considered blacklisted so clicks from these countries will be rejected.
Inverted logic
In case you have one or more countries that that should be allowed instead, you may use the Invert button. Switching the button ON will invert the original logic of the filter and it will allow the clicks from the defined countries and reject everything else instead.
Conclusion
The use of this filter allows approval or rejection of traffic based on browser language.
It operates as a targeting tool helping ad campaigns to only receive the traffic with the right browser language. Note that this filter only considers the browser language and does not take into consideration the use of vpn and proxies. Consider using the VPN/Proxy filter for more advanced fraud detection.
Note: This filter is available for both Clicks and Conversions
