Checks performed
What is the affiliate link checking tool? It identifies broken links and long redirect chains. Simulating devices and GEO locations around the world.
Paste one live tracking link. Choose a device and country to simulate where the click comes from.
Note: Testing a live tracking URL may register one click in your tracker. We only follow the redirect path — no forms, no conversion postbacks.

Everything you need to know about checking redirect chains with our free tool.
Learn more about Integr8A redirect chain checker follows a URL through every redirect until it reaches the final page. It lists each hop with its HTTP status code and response time, so you can see how many redirects a URL passes through, whether any of them fail, and where visitors and search engines actually end up. Our tool can also run the check from different countries and devices, which most redirect checkers can't.
Paste the URL into the redirect chain checker, pick a device and a country, and run the test. A working redirect shows a 3xx status on each hop and a 200 on the final page. A 4xx or 5xx anywhere in the chain, a loop, or a final URL you didn't expect means something is broken.
The redirect chain checker follows these redirect types:
A 307 is a temporary redirect and a 308 is a permanent one, similar to 302 and 301. The difference is that 307 and 308 keep the original request method, so a POST request stays a POST. For SEO, Google treats a 308 like a 301 and a 307 like a 302.
If you see a 307 in Chrome DevTools on an HTTPS site, it is often HSTS. That redirect happens inside the browser, not on your server.
A single redirect is fine. Chains are the problem. Googlebot follows up to 10 hops and then stops, every extra hop slows down crawling, and the longer a chain gets, the more likely it is that something in the middle breaks.
Best practice is to point every old URL straight to its final destination and update internal links so they skip the redirect completely.
Aim for one. Two can happen, for example HTTP to HTTPS followed by a www redirect, but you can usually merge those into a single rule. Three or more hops is a chain worth fixing.
Affiliate and tracking links are the exception. The publisher link, the tracker and sometimes a smartlink each add a hop, because that is how the click gets attributed. There the goal is not fewer hops but making sure every hop works.
The tool uses a residential proxy to get an IP address in the country you select and sends the request as the device you picked. The chain is traced the way a real visitor from that country and device would see it, so you can verify geo redirects, regional offers, separate mobile routing and app store redirects.

Affiliate marketing runs on links. Every click that fails to reach its destination is money left on the table. The problem is that affiliate links rarely go straight from point A to point B. They pass through tracking systems, get redirected based on location, and sometimes break without warning.
Our affiliate link checker traces the complete path your links take. You see every redirect, every hop, and the final landing page your visitors actually reach. No more guessing whether your campaigns work correctly in different countries or on different devices.
Geo-targeting issues are the silent killer of affiliate campaigns. An offer might work perfectly in the US but redirect to a dead page in Germany. Without testing from actual IP addresses in each target country, you would never know. Our tool uses residential proxies to simulate real visitors from your target markets.
Device-specific redirects catch many affiliates off guard. Advertisers often send mobile traffic to app stores and desktop traffic to landing pages. If you only test from your laptop, you miss half the picture. The affiliate link tester lets you check how your links behave on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
Broken redirect chains happen more often than advertisers admit. Networks change tracking domains. Offers get paused. Landing pages move. A link that worked last week might send traffic into a black hole today. Regular testing catches these problems before they drain your budget.
Cloaked and shortened links hide their true destination. Whether you received a bitly link from a partner or want to verify where a competitor sends traffic, the redirect checker reveals the complete chain. You see every intermediate step, not just the final page.
When you submit a URL, our system follows every redirect just like a real browser would. We record each step of the journey including HTTP status codes, redirect types, and response times. The results show you the full path from your original link to wherever it ultimately lands.
The tool handles all standard redirect methods. This includes 301 permanent redirects, 302 temporary redirects, meta refresh tags, and JavaScript-based redirections. Smartlinks that route traffic based on conditions get traced to their actual endpoints for your selected country and device combination.
Affiliate marketers verify their tracking links work correctly before scaling campaigns. Nothing worse than sending paid traffic to broken offers.
Affiliate managers check that publisher links route to the right destinations. They also audit for unauthorized redirect insertions or link hijacking.
Media buyers test offer links across all their target geos before launching campaigns. A quick check prevents wasted ad spend on non-converting traffic.
Network operators monitor offer health across their portfolio. Automated checks catch problems before affiliates start complaining about missing conversions.
Whether you run a single campaign or manage thousands of offers, knowing where your links actually go is not optional. It is the foundation of profitable affiliate marketing.
Integr8 includes an integrated link testing tool as part of the affiliate tracking platform. Test hundreds of links automatically and get alerted when redirects break.
